I am so glad to finally find a dog food so nutritional. My dog used to be the pickiest eater ever and now he gobbles up his food every day!!! I have told many people about the excellent results it has brought us.

We are constantly receiving compliments on his full, soft, gorgeous coat!!

It is nice and reassuring to find a quality food such as Innova! I tried home cooked meal and it worked well for awhile -- but with my busy schedule I couldn't keep up -- I still feed some home cooked things as a treat -- but this kibble was my answer!

I love your Innova dog food. I have a high energy 11 month old Australian Shepard, who ate other foods which all upset his stomach. He used to vomit or have diarrhea quite often, probably because of the poor ingredients. He now eats Innova dry and wet and loves them both!

We were given a Yellow Labrador Retriever puppy on Easter 2000. Sam was born March 3, 2000 to full-blood Lab parents. Since the day we brought him home, we have fed him Innova Puppy and Innova dog treats. I want to tell you how glad and thankful I am that I found your Innova Dog foods. Three months ago our 10 year old, male, Weimaraner Chris was diagnosed with bone cancer. He is doing fabulously on your food. The oncologist we consulted did not believe that Chris would be here today. Innova is part of that success. I have since changed over our 2 other dogs to Innova Senior. I recommend Innova to all my friends with pets.

I have been feeding my Whippet puppy Innova puppy food since he was brought into my home and I can honestly say that his coat has never looked healthier. At first I was feeding him Purina puppy chow but I found that his coat was dull and his skin was flaky. My friend suggested that I try Innova and right away I noticed a difference in his overall appearance. I have since told friends to switch to Innova.

My dog also loves the health bars. We take some with us when we go on walks as an energy bar when he starts to get tired. Hello! I started using your cat food just a month ago, and already I can see a difference in my cats. One cat has suffered from dandruff and excessive shedding for a long, long, time.

Repeated trips tot the vets and all kinds of supplements did not help. I decided to try your product on the recommendation of a P&A Foods in Doylestown, PA. His coat is becoming shiny, the dandruff is disappearing, he is running around like a kitten! He is 11 years old.

I have 4 cats ranging in age from 1.5 to 10 years. For a number of reasons I decided to change from Iams to another premium cat food and Innova Lite was recommended.

Before purchasing I read the list of ingredients on your web site. I was impressed, especially that Glucosamine, and Chondroitin were listed as ingredients -- good things for the older cats.

However, my gang has taken finicky to new heights and when I have tried to change the food in the past, all have gone on a hunger strike! However, I am surprised (amazed actually) that all like the food, even Kadi. Trust me, that is the ultimate compliment to your food!

Our four dogs are beloved family members in our home. This year I finally took the time to research the rumors I'd been hearing about pet food ingredients. Since I am a librarian by profession, believe me, I was thorough. The result of that research was that I could not get our dogs into a healthier diet fast enough!

Eight weeks ago we changed our dogs over to California Natural from Nature's Recipe Herding Dog and Toy Dog formulas. The bigger dogs now have coats that literally sparkle! Annie is a 5 year old Golden Retriever who is a big part of our family. We have had problems with hot spots ever since she was a puppy. We tried Hot Spot Spray, Fish Oil, switching the food, blaming it on our warm weather in the summer, keeping her dry, etc. trying to get rid of them.

We found California Natural Lamb and Rice kibble, wet food and biscuits. About two weeks after switching, the hot spots started getting better. A couple of weeks after that, they disappeared. We have been holding our breath, but so far, "success!"

I just wanted to let you know that about a month ago I switched to California Natural Reduced Calorie. I have a 4.5 year old GSD/Border Collie Cross with a weight problem.

I have tried numerous diets and with limited success. Best case was maintaining his weight at a constant level. I've never written a "fan letter" for any product before, but I'd like to take this opportunity to compliment you on your California Natural adult dry cat food (chicken and rice formula).

My cats enjoyed fairly good health, with the exception of my one female, Leia. Since almost dying from a mysterious illness at the age of six weeks, she's been troubled by severe digestive problems, including constant diarrhea and very frequent vomiting.

Things changed dramatically, however, when I borrowed a cup of California Natural Adult Cat food which my neighbor gave to her cat. After one sniff she gobbled it all up, not leaving a crumb for her brothers and howled for more. The results were amazing... her lifelong battle with diarrhea stopped within 24 hours and hasn't returned even once. Likewise, her vomiting has also ceased almost completely. Moreover, she is livelier, more frisky and playful and she's obviously enjoying life more fully.

We have a fifty dog kennel and during the last few years, we fed Science Diet when we bought the kennel. We soon switched to Sensible Choice at our feed dealers suggestion. The dogs still left more food than they ate and we continued to throw away food. We gradually switched the dogs to Nutro Max and found a lot of stool problems.

At my veterinarians suggestion, we switched to California Natural and Innova for my own dogs and cats. They did so well, I looked for a distributor and found Amato's. I discussed with Rich the problems we had with the kennel diets and he suggested HealthWise. We started to use HealthWise in the kennel about 2 months ago. The transition was smooth and rarely, if ever do I have to throw food away.

I couldn't wait to tell you about my recent events! My dog Sampson is a 2 1/2 year old rottweiler. I have been feeding him Innova since he was 3 months old. I had tried many, many different foods from the day I brought him home such as lams, Avoderm, etc-He would not touch these foods unless I mixed various canned foods, gravy, rice, so on and so forth. Finally, a woman I befriened at Western Feed in Carmichael, CA advised me to try Innova. Well, that solved my problem. The minute I put Innova in his dish, he ate it all! That was a couple of years ago and to this day my dog still loves his Innova. In fact, sometimes I even use it for bait in his training lessons!

Now here is the real exciting news, ..... with the encouragement of my breeder, I tried showing my Sampson these past few months and here are the results... Sampson is now an International Champion, multiple VI (german rating V=excellent l=first place) rated dog! The critiques(five) that he has received all comment on his excellent coat!

I even had people aproaching me after the show to ask me what I was feeding him! Sampson also took first place in the "Best of Breed" category! Thank you so much for your Innova, Sampson loves it.

I would also like to add that Sampson has never had any skin problems. When I was breeding rottweilers years ago, every one of my dogs got "hotspots". I wish I had Innova then! I truly believe in your Dog food!!!

Sayde was a stray, found not far from where we live. She had on a leather collar but no tags. No one came to claim her at our Dane County Humane Society. I had been looking for a German Shepherd to adopt; it's our favorite breed and I had been making weekly visits to the Humane Society.

One day I came across Sayde there. She looked pretty pathetic and scary. She had a severe bite wound on the shoulder that became infected and had to be debrided and several tubes placed for drainage. Sayde also had bite wounds on her ears which left some permanent scars inside each ear. During all this it was discovered after opening her up that she had already been spayed.

So when I saw her at the Humane Society, Sayde was bloody, shaved, underweight, had a bad coat and still had stitches and tubes in her. When I looked at her through the kennel door she was laying down and just looked at me sadly. I spoke to her softly and she grumbled, but I saw something in her eyes. I went back two weeks in a row and watched her recover and would talk to her and she would talk back. No one showed interest in her.

I told my husband about her and he wasn't as enthusiastic about her. We went to look at her together and she still looked really rough. The counselor took us all in a room and we interacted with Sayde. Not knowing her well, she came off VERY independent, vocal and a bit bossy. I was sold right away. I could see the intelligence there and ability to want to learn. My husband took her for a walk alone and came back in love with her!

The other problem Sayde had was REALLY BAD flatulence. Ugh. I have taught Sayde all basic verbal/hand commands. Sayde likes other dogs that are laid back as long as its just one on one, no groups. Her adoption anniversary is in April and it will be two years. We believe Sayde is about 4 1/2 years old and a German Shepherd/Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix.

She has recovered completely, but has a sensitive digestive system and it took a lot of research on my part to figure out what foods she couldn't tolerate. Natura was a life saver!

I have a four year old Dalmatian named "Ella" and she's been getting Innova Senior food for more than two years. I am EXTREMELY happy with how she does on this food. Her weight is always stable, her coat is perfect and totally odorless, her eyes and her personality are bright and clear. Just about everyone who meets her asks me what I feed her. She just looks flat out fantastic. Also, she still seems happy with how it tastes. She is very happy and energetic.

Recently, on TV, I saw a segment about weight problems with doggies. I have to wonder what some of these unfortunate dogs are being fed. Likely, it would be similar to people living on donuts. When I walk Ella I often see other dogs stools and wonder what they eat. They're horrible unhealthy looking specimens. Ella's are small and solid and show that there is little wasted in what she eats.

I could go on for paragraphs bragging about how gorgeous this dog looks. That was in no small part done with your help.

Sam will be 10 years old in December. For the first 6 years of his life, he was extremely healthy. He only went to the Vet for shots. Probably the only complaint I had about Sam was that he was always a little thin. He was a pretty picky eater. He'd nibble and leave his food, come back and nibble again but not really eat too much. Keeping weight on Sam was a challenge.

Then, at the age of six, he was diagnosed with loss of kidney function. He had to go on a lower protein diet. I tried Science Diet KD, Purina Pro Plan Lite, Nutro Max Senior, etc. He absolutely hated the Science Diet and would barely tolerate the others. He seemed to lose muscle tone and he lost weight. And, he would often seem to easily react adversely to stress by getting diarrhea, etc. He was no longer my healthy boy!

Last year, I switched Sam to Innova Senior. He has done very well on it. He weighs more than he has weighed in his life! His coat is very thick and feels wonderful. He eagerly eats all his food and is rarely sick. His blood tests are always normal. He obviously feels great! At Astro Hall this July, he took Reserve to a five point major! At 9 years of age!

His mother, Alta, is also on Innova Senior. Winter, my Special, and Baby, my new rescue American Eskimo, are both on Innova. All 4 of my dogs are Innova dogs! I think it's a
wonderful food.

I have the most beautiful Akita-Inu Puppy who is fed entirely on Innova Puppy food. The enclosed pictures show him at 10 weeks and when he weighed approx. 20 kilo. He is now 22 weeks and weighs 39.5 kilo with no signs of slowing down. He is full of energy, fun and is bright eyed with a glossy coat. In fact the perfect picture of health.

I have had Beagle for 2 years. A friend's son found him emaciated, injured and howling for help. He called the ASPCA and Beagle was on death row. I took him in and love him but it has been a hard 2 years. His hyperactivity, which most (including vets) told me was the norm for beagles, was about to drive me nuts. I fed him large amounts of food (WD purchased at vet's office), yet his spinal bones were prominent. I was worried though blood work was normal
that there was something very wrong.

I have another dog who has immune problems and began to read about food nutrition and was HORRIFIED to learn what I was feeding my dogs (I have 4) as I strive to do and give them the best quality products/life. Subscribed to "Whole Dog" journal and learned about your product. It is either a great product or a miracle as my wild beagle is calmer and a healthier looking (Spinal bones no longer prominent) dog. Family and friends who have visited have remarked at his change.Sure he is still a little hyper...he is a beagle, but his over all affect is peaceful, contented and I know that it is his change in diet.

Forgive me for going on and on but you cannot imagine what a relief it is to have to this change occur..and to know that it occured due to a healthy change in diet and not due to tranquilizers that some suggested I give him.

We have had our Westies for two years now and have had trouble finding food that they would eat with regularity. We've tried several different brands of Lamb and Rice formulation yet hadn't found a brand of food that would keep their bowels healthy or that they seemed to like.

We have a two-year-old male Shih-Tzu named Winston who, up until a month ago, suffered severe scratching and skin irritation. When I asked our local Pet Store owner what I should do, he instantly said that we should change our dog's diet. We were feeding him canned food. She is a seven year old spayed German Shorthaired Pointer who
has been plagued by both inhalant and topical allergies all of her life. Her symptoms were itchy paws, chin, terrible yeast ears, inflamed itchy anus. He said to give it six weeks for all of the old toxins to leave Ripley's body and that I would see a big change in my dog. Guess what? You have a fantastic product that my dog will eat for her lifetime! She has been on Ca Natural for six months and is a whole new dog. Her skin and ear problems are 90% better. I think she is a dog that will always have a few minor allergy problems but she is so much more comfortable and happy.

I have a 7 month old German Shepherd show pup by the name of Joss. Joss was at his first show 2 weeks ago, and his handler had prepared fresh cooked liver with garlic to use as "bait" in the show ring. Joss turned his nose up at the liver and refused to eat it. He was busy trying to stick his nose in the pocket of my jacket and all attempts to have him bait for the liver were met with a complete lack of interest.

I had forgotten I had some of your "Health Bars" in my pocket, but evidently, Joss sniffed them out! We quickly squeezed them down to a "bait size" and they worked beautifully!! Joss took first place! We know that next time Joss goes into the show ring, the "Health Bars" will be used as the bait of choice.

I have a cat who is 21 1/2 years old and was dying of anemia just 6 months ago. I switched him from Science Diet cat food over to your Innova cat food and he has miraculously recovered and is doing so well. His coat is thick and shiny now and he has put on weight and looks and feels great! He no longer seems to suffer with the arthritis in his back legs anymore either. It's truly a miracle and I attribute his recover and good health to YOUR FOOD!

The vet can't get over that he's still alive since his bloodwork was so dismal and she had actually given up on him, and I expected him to die any day. I have two Maine Coon cats (now 4 and 3 years old) from a club for protection of animals since last year. Since that time I was looking for healthy cat food. It is very difficult to find it (even in special pet shops offering numerous kinds of cat food). All food products usually contain artificial chemical substances such as preservatives, and in canned food even sugar. However, thanks to new media such as Internet, I was fortunate. In March, I found a supplier of your products in Munich, about 200 km away from my home.

I wanted to share my story with you. I have three spayed, female cats. There names are Pooh, Lizzy, and Bella Mia. Lizzy and Pooh are 14 years old, Bella Mia is 8 months old. I'm one of those people who believe in feeding my cats only the best food available. For years, my two older cats have been eating Pro Plan cat food. When we got Bella, we fed her Pro Plan as well, believing it was the best.

A few months ago, Lizzy developed a food allergy. Her fur was always shiney and soft. I noticed the luster wasn't in her fur anymore and her skin and ears especially were very dry and cracked. My vet suggested trying different food. I tried only the best, Eukanaba, Iams, Science Diet, etc...Nothing seemed to work. They weren't real happy with any of the above mentioned foods they tried. I'm so glad I finally found a food that makes them happy and is so healthy for them. They look so forward to they meals now. (I use the dry food). When they see the bag, they run to the bowls. I wanted to get back to you regarding feeding Innova Lite Canned food to my cat Gerswhin, whose had a history of recurrent Urinary Tract Infections. I chose Innova over prescription diets because I find the quality of the ingredients in prescription diets (as well as most other non-prescription cat food, too!) questionable. The levels of Mg, Ca, P, and Ash in Innova Lite Canned Food are as low as in the prescription foods, so my vet approved of feeding Innova over what she had originally recommended.

The results thus far are encouraging. Gershwin has not had an infection for several months now, and he just LOVES your food. I can definitely see and smell a difference in the quality of Innova over other brands of canned food.

I adopted a kitten from our local SPCA in May of 1993, when he was merely 6 wks or so. "Icee" is an outdoor/indoor cat, king of his castle and master of the hood, a true lover/fighter type of guy. Never did he snap at any of my two boys (now 12 & 9) or anybody else, yet, outside of the door he is a miniature tiger, patiently awaiting for my return.

About 5 months ago he developed this weird behaviors, he started chasing his own tail to the point of fighting with it and making it bleed. I just wanted to say thank you!! Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a lamb based dog food without rice? One of my Shar Pei has such severe allergies that her test came back with 26 reactions to food, with rice being one of them. We have tried every food on the market from the west coast to the east coast, regardless of the price or shipping cost. Nothing helped.

I came across the HealthWise and saw the oatmeal instead of rice. Thank goodness I did give it a try. For the first time in well over a year she is doing really great due to your HealthWise Lamb and Oatmeal. Her skin has calmed down and she is not all swollen. I cannot thank Natura enough for thinking of a non-rice dog food!

I just switched my Jack Russell Terriers from a major "premium brand" of dog kibble to HealthWise and I am extremely happy with the results. These are extremely active dogs and I had trouble keeping their weight at ideal levels with their previous brand. Their coats look better, energy level is great, and they love the taste.

We've used your HealthWise dry product for 4 years and are extremely happy with the results that is has brought to our German Shepherd, J.J., our Welsh Corgi, Peanut, and our Rottweiller, Barney.

I think the kibble of HealthWise is enticing to cats as they seem to like the round shapes with holes in them--especially kittens and older cats who may have difficulty with chewing dry foods that are solid or differently shaped. Tastewise, my brood (a rather substantial one) love the HealthWise and the hairball relief is remarkable. The kittens have done exceptionally well on it and at their 12 week checkup were all over 5 lbs.--which even by Main Coon standards--drops not a few jaws of the other breeders.

Additionally, my Pyr is on the canine HealthWise and he has done very nicely as well. Both the cats and dogs have had a significant change in their coats--softer and shinier--a combination of higher fat and the oatmeal, I think.

I'd just like to take some time and say that I am EXTREMELY satisfied with EVO. My two dogs are doing very well on it. After only a week on their new-found-diet, their stools are very firm and the odor considerably reduced. Their coats seem to be a lot softer as well. I can't imagine feeding anything else to my dogs, IN FACT I think it would be wrong to feed your dog any other food (well of course other than raw). Keep up the good work. Please don't compromise the quality.

I started out feeding my husky mix a raw diet (which he did really well on) but when my family grew to three husky mixes I had to find an alternative. Your EVO dry has been fantastic & now we love mixing it with some of the canned EVO.

I switched one of my dogs (a Golden) to your EVO (dry, poultry large bits) after learning she had cancer and that high-protein/low-carb would be best for her. After battling itchy, flaky skin for 9 years and switching to this food now, not only is she doing great with regard to the cancer, but her skin is better and her coat has never been shinier or silkier!!!

I wish I could put all my dogs on this food, but the high calorie content makes that difficult... Goldens tend to gain weight just looking at food :-( They do all get the bagged treats though!

I have referred numerous people to this food, sadly because their Goldens have also developed cancer, because I really believe it is helping my precious girl. I love the listing of ingredients on your website, and that you can click on them to learn what they are and what they do. Nothing worse than looking at a dog food label and having NO idea what all those ingredients are!

I'm very health conscious and particular (vegetarian) about what I eat and so, naturally, I try to give my one year old chihuahua (Azul) the very best as well. I am the owner of 2 Eng. mastiff rescues that I've acquired by hardship. Both are from different situations, both animals needed a home ASAP, both are not exactly the type most people would choose to adopt because of mental & physical issues. Our dog had been itching and losing his fur for about a month, and I was completely out of ideas on what to do for him. I visited our local pet retailer and the owner suggested that I try EVO dog food. Please don't change this formula! Our German Shepherd puppy has had quite a problem with dog food giving him pudding-type stools. We’ve had testing done and there is nothing medically wrong with him. Thus, leaving us with a food problem. I searched the Internet for all organic and holistic food and came upon Karma. We purchased a small bag at our local dealer just to give it a try. Well, need I say more, he suffered no adverse effect upon introducing Karma and is now only on Karma. Stools are normal, I use his food as training cookies, he’s happy and so am I.

I just wanted to let you know that I tried your Karma food yesterday. We have two male Lhaso Apso puppies (7-1/2 months) who have been pretty picky eaters. The pet store we got them at sent them home with Royal Canin food which they ate for several months but then stopped eating. I then tried Innova puppy food. One liked it and one wasn't too enthusiastic. I had some California Natural that we had from our previous dog. They both seem to like that o.k., but their eating was still spotty.

I decided to try the Karma. They like that almost too well. They have had two feedings and a fight has broken out both times. They also will eat as much as they can -- which is atypical for them. Now, I just need to figure out how to meter the food without them getting into a fight.

I just wanted to say thank you for making such a wonderful product. In light of all the recent pet food recalls I made a much needed change in both my dog's diets. I have a 6 year old Siberian Husky and a 7 year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Both dogs were previously fed a national brand for years. I was a very uneducated consumer when it came to pet food. I had trusted a company for years to provide nutrition for my dogs, all the while unaware of the garbage packed into every morsel I had been feeding them since birth. It angered and enraged me to find out how shady and money hungry companies can be at the expense of the heath of my beloved pets.

My poor Beagle/JRT suffered terribly from allergies, sneezing, watery eyes, red ears and skin irritations. He developed these allergies after we moved out of state, so I was under the impression that it was mainly due to environmental changes. I was told by the vet that he would probably suffer from allergies for the rest of his life. It was never suggested that I change his diet. I had tried everything from flax seed oil to all natural cremes to help sooth his skin. Nothing worked, I was very frustrated and he was miserable. Until I switched to Innova. It was like a miracle cure for my Roscoe. He no longer suffers from allergies and I have noticed a difference in both their skin and coats. Both dogs love Innova and are doing wonderfully. I just wanted to let you know how thankful and pleased I am with your product.

When we purchased our beloved puggle Baylee a year ago we were clueless about what to feed her. Thankfully, the pet store was feeding her Innova Puppy. Rather than changing her to something else we continued feeding her this food.

We know of several other puggles in the area and none of them have a coat as soft as Baylee's. It got to the point where if we saw another Puggle we would have to walk up and pet it to see how the coat felt. None have even been close. We have had no health problems with her, she has tons of energy and is really smart. (Outsmarts us sometimes) She is one happy pup. And we think it is because of the food.

When the recalls occured I had some friends that were feeding their pets foods that were involved. One friend's cat had most likely died from it. During all of this they were looking for a replacement food that they could trust. I have told them all that our Innova food was something they could feed their pet with total confidence.

After seeing the video that you made to address your customers about the recalls, I knew that I was right. I have not seen any other pet food company's executives do anything like that and I as a consumer that has grown very attached to my pet appreciate it very much. I am one of those consumers that have very high expectations of customer service but have very strong loyalties to brands that strive to create the highest quality product and recognize the importance of their customers. I guess you could call me old school because there are not a lot of companies like that anymore. At this point, I feel that Natura is one of those companies. I am extremely happy with the quality of the Innova puppy food and the straight forward way in which Natura has handled the ongoing recall debacle and will certainly stick with Innova when we decide to transition her to adult food.

I found my dog on the side of a busy road. She was dirty, malnourished, and absolutely sweet. I brought her home, gave her a bath, and fed her, what I thought was a good puppy food. However, after a week she was sick and refused to eat even a bite. I was worried and spent every penny i had on her at the vet only to bring her home broke and still not eating.

I went to a local pet store (Creature Comforts) here in Fallbrook and asked for some advice. They suggested Innova wet food mixed with some dry. They were right! She ate it all and was asking for more. Within a week she was happier, her coat was so beautiful and shiny, and she had so much light in her eyes. I just took Razor to the groomer (which he goes to every 6 weeks) and he could not believe the difference in his coat. Razor is coming back to me. He is starting to play ball and tug again. You seen I rescued Razor 2 yrs ago April 1, 2005. He was chained to a shed and was found sitting next to his dead brother. The people that owned him moved and left him. He was abandoned. The only food my dogs have ever dined upon is yours. You cannot imagine the peace of mind I am feeling these past 9 weeks since this recall debacle began! We feed Innova Adult, (green bag), to our three dogs...I have always been happy with the results...fabulous coats, sparkly eyes, incredible stamina, no ear infections, etc. The all important bonus: no melamine garbage. I cannot adequately express how thankful I am that we chose Innova for our English Setters and American Bulldog. Again, thank you.

Over the years, my husband and I have adopted and/or rescued countless dogs. German Shepherds are our favorites, but they frequently have skin or allergy problems. In one case, we were at our wits' end: years of vet visits, open sores, infected ears, no hair, special (prescription) diets, steroid treatments, and thousands of dollars squandered in an attempt to help our beloved MacGyver. Finally, we turned to diet.

We recently adopted a 1 yr old Weimeriner mix from the shelter. She was very underweight due to depression from living in a cage her whole life. I decided to feed her EVO due to its high protein content. In one week she gained 4 pounds of pure muscle. Now she is a very strong, healthy and happy dog who has the energy to keep up with our two young girls.

I have a 7 year old purebred shih-tzu with many, many allergies. She would get so sick no matter what kind of dry food I was feeding her. She didn't seem to have much energy, she just didn't seem like herself. I would put her full bowl of food down and she wouldn't eat. She would just sit and stare at it.

My name is Satchmo, and I used to vomit. A LOT. My old vet told my owners that I had Inflammatory Bowel disease, and that was allergic to something I was eating. My humans tried a couple of different types of food, some which tasted terrible, but nothing seemed to help. I had to go to the vet every few weeks for a steroid shot to control my vomiting, but after a while, that didn’t even seem to help. One day, my owners took me to the vet, and I thought I would get another shot, but they never came back. It wasn’t too bad living at the clinic, the people were really nice, but I had to stay in a cage most of the time (which I hated), I was still vomiting a lot, and every night I would make a terrible mess. The food they had me on was terrible, so I stopped eating, and I was still vomiting, and I really didn’t like being in the cage, so I started losing a lot of weight. I was getting depressed and the vets were getting really worried about me, but they couldn’t think of anything else to do, since it’s hard to find a new home for me when I vomit all the time.

One day, a lady walked into the clinic. I was out on the counter for the afternoon (since it was a slow day) and she came over to me. She had a cat carrier with her, which made me a little uneasy (car rides aren’t my favorite thing), but she seemed very nice, and was really interested in me. I let her pick me up and put me in the bag, and she took me to the car. She let me out for most of the ride (it was a long one!) and I only barfed in the car twice. I was trying to be on my best behavior, but looking out the window made me a little queasy, so eventually I hid in the bag again and tried to sleep.

My new owner had some new food waiting for me when I got out of the car. It was the best tasting food I had had in a long time (about since the last time I got into the garbage on lobster night at my last home!) and I dug right in. The next morning at breakfast, she congratulated me for not barfing on the floor, and I realized that I hadn’t vomited since eating the new food. I found out that my new owner is a vet student, and she had gotten some kitty food samples from her friend, the student Natura Representative. I’m eating the California Natural Herring and Sweet Potato formula, and haven’t vomited since starting it! I’ve put weight back on, my coat is shiny and amazingly soft, I feel great, and I haven’t had a steroid shot since she picked me up! My new owner can’t believe that she doesn’t have to clean up after me four or five times a day anymore, and the other cats love eating it, too! We’re both amazed that I’ve gotten better just from the food change, and the resolution was immediate and complete. Now, I can enjoy my days of napping, watching birds, and scratching the furniture, without the bother of frequent vomiting. That is, of course, unless I get into the garbage…

My 10 yr old Siamese Louis was diagnosed last fall with diabetes. He went on insulin but still had difficulty regulating the diabetes. It was not until I switched him to the low carb wet diet of canned EVO (which he loves!) that his disease came under control. Then his insulin requirement was greatly reduced and now in fact he is able to go off it for days. We hope that he may soon be diet controlled with no insulin. He also used to have trouble with urinary crystals, and that has not been seen in tests since he changed diet.

An exciting UPDATE: Louis has now been completely OFF INSULIN for 5 weeks!!!!

A few days ago I bought your new EVO meat dog food at Western Feed. My dog Dixie has been sluggish and has gotten very fat on grocery store dog food. She also chews her feet and never seems satisfied with her food.

Only 2 days after starting her on the EVO, she is much more energetic and has stopped chewing and scratching herself. I will never feed her foods with grain fillers again.

Since switching my cats to Innova EVO their coats have improved so much. Also before we had lots of problems with hairballs, between the 3 cats someone would have one each day... now we maybe have one once a week! My veterinarian recommended the food and we love it! I have told others about the food and they complain that it costs too much, but compared to other high quality brands, pound to pound, the Innova is not priced wrong I feel.

I have four cats, ages 11 to 15, and when one was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), my vet recommended a prescription diet. After reading its ingredients (the main protein source was soybean!) I thought I could do better for my pets.

After considerable research, I made up a chart comparing ten dry cat foods with the brand names removed, including several prescription diets, and took it back to my vet. He chose the California Natural Chicken & Brown Rice as the best balanced, best formulated food on the list, which agreed with my own conclusions based on my research.

I transitioned my cats to this diet about three months ago. The IBD cat has had no more symptoms, is more lively, and is slowly gaining weight. When all the dog food recalls happened my Westie was sick. Something with her kidneys. Doctor was not very helpful, so I decided to change dog food on my own.

My husband told me of a new Pet Shop next to his gym. I went there and found the owners to be very nice and helpful. I could not decide on which one of your products to buy as all the ingredients sounded so great. I also have a cairn terrier. My cairn is almost 17 and my Westie is 13. Both had problems before, cairn with constipation and Westie with the opposite. This is not to the food recall but always.

Since eating only your dog food and treats, they are to normal now. They are doing so well, that I feel so guilty for not knowing about you sooner. I don't give compliments freely, but I must say your food has done wonders for my dogs.

I have been using EVO canned and dry for a rescued litter of kittens that I brought in from outside. They snubbed every other kind of high quality food except for the EVO. They were extremely skinny and lethargic when we first brought them in and we were worried we would lose them, but after a couple days on the EVO, they started turning around and coming back to life.

Just this morning I filled their bowl with the dry EVO, and they literally dove face first into their food. This food has done wonders for these little kittens and I wonder what would have happened to them if we didn't try the EVO line of foods.

I wanted to write and thank you. We are absolutely amazed at the difference in our dog since she started eating EVO dog food.

Sadie is a Westie and has had on-going skin problems, which is common to the breed. We have had her on medicine from the vet off and on for months. It made her smell like chemicals and it did not work, she still had bald swollen patches that she licked constantly. We had tried everything - one Westie club website I went to for information advised having dogs with this condition put to sleep!

Someone told my husband about your food and he bought a bag – it’s a good thing, because, I probably wouldn't have. I wouldn't have believed that just changing her food would make such a dramatic difference - after all that medicine? She was apparently miserable because she has gone from a quiet, sleepy little dog that didn't interact much to a bright eyed, friendly, active little Westie.

She "speaks" to us each morning when we get up, she runs and plays with our other dog, and she is always up for a walk. My 2 year old Newfoundland, who had an incredible coat until recently, was experiencing such terrible coat problems that her groomer suggested I have her tested for thyroid issues. I did - and she got a clean bill of health.

I changed her from a very good, holistic, dog food to half that food and half your California Natural Herring and Sweet Potato about 2 weeks ago. The difference in her coat has been remarkable. The shedding has reduced dramatically, and the coat is even beginning to shine again. An additional bonus is that she now loves to eat.

My Corgi, who seems to be able to eat anything and still look good, also loves your food. It's a bit early to tell if this really will do the trick - but the early signs are promising! I should have her switched over entirely to your food in the near future. Stay tuned!

I am so excited to find your pet food. My cat has been suffering allergies for the last 2 years. We originally thought it was due to plants in the house she was eating and we finally figured out it was her food (we think she is allergic to chicken).

So, I've hunted the shelves of a couple popular pet food stores and consulted our Vet, unfortunately, the only alternatives offered by our vet were two prescription foods (duck/pea and venison) which the cat refused to eat. Our dog had suffered from bouts of allergies, skin infections and ear infections since he was a puppy. At the age of seven, we found a holistic vet who recommended EVO. He's been on the EVO diet for 1.5 years now and his allergy symptoms are completely gone. Our Baxter could be a poster child for your foods. We had fed him premium dog foods his entire life, eliminated wheat and still he'd had problems. We have a 9 year old Golden Retriever that is a service dog for my fiancé. He's always been limited on food choices because he's allergic to chicken and we have limited finances. I have been feeding 3 of my Aussies EVO Red Meat for about 6 months now. They look wonderful!! My now 10-year-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier suffered from a systemic yeast infection which would not go away for 3 years. Her skin turned black and her hair fell out.

One- and a half-year-old Red Male Chow Koji is a chow that rarely ate. If it's not a french fry, he wouldn't have it. We had him on Dick Van Pattens Duck and Potato after we had him on Nutro Lamb and Rice for a spell. He would never eat ... every night we had to sit down with him to persuade him to eat a lousy cup of kibble, and he was constantly constipated. Packed from anus to stomach to the point where a vet trip was needed and x-rays taken. When he wasn't bunged up, his stools were loose and causing him discomfort, if he would go at all some days. Both boys had persistent diarrhea and incredible gas. Koji had severely irritated skin and patchy hair loss to the point where I no longer showed him.

My family was distraught, and a friend of mine turned me on to California Natural. With great hesitation I began the switch. I have always given the boys 6 months on a food before I judged it, but within a month of being on it, Koji was eating on his own. To this day after being on it for a year, he needs no encouraging to finish his food; he is more active, happier and doubled his intake of food. His coat is back to its original show condition, and he no longer scratches and digs at his legs as he did with all other foods, including medicated diets. Your pet foods are the best, and I have been using them for 15 years.

I would like to share my story about how I came to find out about your foods and how satisfied I am with the quality you provide. When I had my two previous dogs, Buffy and Dozer, and a cat named BJ, I fed them the "best" pet food from a chain pet store. I didn't realize there was such a big difference in quality and nutritional value.

Both dogs and the cat had skin issues, varying from dry, flaky, itchy, to more serious problems with raw (hot) spots and skin infection. The vet treated them with creams and prednisone when the conditions became worse. I tried everything to help them and was told it could be fleas, allergies to grass, shampoo, table foods, etc. By this time, all three animals were ranging in age from 5 years to 9 years old.

When I was on vacation in Oregon (with my dogs), they started having problems with the "itchy skin.” I tried to get an appointment with a vet, but couldn't get in until the following afternoon. Meanwhile, I decided to take the dogs to a local groomer someone had recommended, with the thought that maybe a medicated bath would help. The groomer was the person who changed my life.

She bathed Buffy and Dozer and then told me about this fairly new dog food called California Natural. She had pages and pages of medical documents and reports on the dog food industry and the terrible ingredients in most of them. She gave samples of California Natural. I'll never forget what she said: "I guarantee to you that if you start feeding this food to your dogs (and cat), you will not have the skin problems I see on them. I have seen EVO work well in both dogs and cats with diabetes to help decrease insulin needs and also improve overall health. My cats have also done well with their allergies and urinary problems as well. I would recommend this food.

I have two Shi-Tzu's, a male - Peanut & a female - Pepper. They were throwing up at least once a day, particularly the female, who threw up at least twice a day. There was nothing physically wrong with either of them.

I just read your disclosure in the Whole Dog Journal regarding your California Natural dog food ingredients and production. I just wanted to say thanks. I've used your products for about 5 years for my bulldogs. They have allergies and there aren't many foods that I can use.

I got my first dog, Lucy, in 1989 when my son was 6 years old. He wanted a Dalmatian. We did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions and welcomed our little black and white puppy when she was 7 weeks old.

She ate a lamb and rice diet without any problems until she was about 6 months old. At that time she began turning into a black and white and red puppy. Her skin was irritated and itchy. She would scratch and bite and lick at herself. The Vet recommended a lot of tests but I just couldn't accept that, so suddenly, something drastic had happened to her skin.

I began doing some research into dog diets. I remember being rather horrified at what I found. I found a little paper back book called something like, "Pet allergies, recipes for an epidemic.”

That is where and when I first discovered Innova dog food. In those days there were not all the premium dog foods like there are today. It took some effort to find the food. I am not exaggerating when I say that this food saved my dog's, if not her life, sanity. It was almost overnight that I noticed an improvement in her skin. Her itching and scratching improved. She ate that food until she died at the ripe old age of 15. She enriched our lives so much.

After she passed away in January of 2004 I thought I would never get another dog cause it hurts so much when they die. A new puppy, however, happened into my life in June of 2004. She was a throw away puppy and I got her when she was 5 weeks old. She is a complete mixed breed but she looks like a cross between a golden retriever and a shar-pei. She is golden and goofy and her name is Summer. She is very cute and attracts attention wherever we go. People stop me all the time to ask about her. As owners of British Bulldogs, we have experienced many skin rashes and allergies and not being able to pinpoint exactly the cause of the problems. Finally, we found a distributor of your food and tried it out on our dogs.

Some years ago we adopted a stray kitten who, it turned out, had badly damaged her kidneys before coming to us - probably from licking anti-freeze or other chemicals during her time as a feral cat. We adopted our Maine Coon cat as a baby kitten at 8-weeks, and our Maltese Poodle dog as a 6-year old adult. Our cat has been on your food since we got her. Our dog got switched to your food the day after we got her. Our cat has the most beautiful, bright eyes and coat. She is the softest cat we have ever cuddled! Her litter box is no problem at all. Our dog was a different story. When we got her, her teeth were in very bad shape - she even lost one right out of her mouth. They were CAKED with plaque and we could not stand her breath. Her teeth are about 90% cleaner and she can lick our faces without us gagging! She has stopped scratching herself raw, significantly reduced her eye leakage, reduced foul gas output, and minimized bowel smell. Her coat has noticibly reduced the number of knots she gets, is much softer to the touch, and she stays cleaner much longer before having to go back to the groomer.

We thought we were going to have to re-do our entire back lawn due to weeds and sickly looking grass. Our lawn has never looked better - no more weeds, and a beautiful deep green color! We never thought getting a dog would improve our lawn, but thanks to your products, she HAS!

Our 10 1/2 year old beagle mix had always been a picky eater. When we had to put her brother down 1 1/2 years ago, she stopped eating and we starting cooking her food for her. Still she would just pick at it (diet was formulated for her - low sodium for her heart).

During the winter we adopted two puppies, and we started them on Innova Puppy. We started to notice our older dog looking interested in their food. I have been feeding my cats Innova for years at the recommendation of my feed store. We had one cat who lived to be 19 years old and ate Innova every day wet and dry. I just bought a bag of EVO Reduced Fat and put some in one hand. Then I put my dog's old food in the other hand and offered them both to my dog. He went nuts over the hand with EVO in it! I even switched hands, and he chose the EVO hand again! I then put the piles of kibble on the ground and yet again he chose the EVO! Apparently, my dog loves it! And it's the only reduced fat formula that actually has meat as the main ingredient!

My 3-month-old puppy, a pug, had a continuously bad, smelly, waxy discharge that I had to clean every couple of days. I told my vet about it, and she told me to change his food to California Natural.

I just wanted to Thank you for making such a superior product. My dog recently got very sick from the pet food recall....the second wave. He wasn't doing well and I couldn't put my finger on it. My dog has a very sensitive stomach to begin with and then he got really sick from the food that he was eating.

After quite a bit of money in vet bills and medication along with boiled hamburger and rice for several weeks, we were able to transition Max over to the Innova EVO red meat kibble and he is doing very well on it.

I have noticed in the past few weeks since I've started feeding EVO, a great change in their attitudes and their activity level is so much higher! They are playing like kittens again!! Their coats look so sleek and smooth. I recommend EVO to everyone!!

I just wanted to say how happy I am with Innova and EVO dog food. I stumbled on these foods by accident. I gave my dogs the samples and they loved it. After having problems with my dog on another premium lite brand, I switched my overweight keeshond to EVO reduced fat. Two weeks later he's significantly lighter. He's also more energetic and more frisky. And he's eating MORE quantity than he was eating before. The medical issue that arose on the other premium brand is completely gone. We are very happy with this dog food.

I've fed my two dogs one bag of the red meat food. They didn't seem to like it much at first, but liked it more as time went on. I gave it to them at dinner only, and they began to hang around the back door about dinner time.

My dog was involved in a series of vicious coyote attacks this past summer. He was in such rough shape, I sadly was considering putting him to sleep.

We have a dachshund (Lucy) who is a piebald in color, and she is allergic to plastic. We have taken all of the plastic out of our house, and she still lost all of her hair and would not get it back.

About 2 weeks ago I was in the vet’s office with my other dachshund when I was explaining to another pet owner about Lucy, and she told me about plastic in dog food to give it more protein, and that EVO did not have any plastic in it. I am so happy with this dog food. My doxie has had bladder stones, dry eye (which requires expensive ointment 2x per day), monthly ear infections, constant yeast infections under her arms and she is overweight.

One of our cats has had an obstruction which has required a catheter and medications 3 times in the past 3 months. About a month ago, I read that an all meat, no grain, wet cat food diet would help. Through research, I discover EVO, 95% meat cat foods and switched Whiskers immediately.

Whiskers just finished his medication last week and continues to do well. He continues on Cosequin but I highly doubt that is making the difference. I believe the new diet is making the difference. Tank, a 3-year-old English Bulldog, was rescued and adopted approximately one year ago. While in foster care, he underwent a number of surgeries for his eyes and soft palette. Innova may be saving my dog's life. For six months she has eaten little for she is not a well dog. She is down to half her weight.

However, last week I started her on Innova Senior canned food. She is now eating 2 large cans a day and I can tell that it excites her.

Just thought you would get a kick out of this. I purchased a bad of Dott's cookies for the kennel kids. This morning, my husband opened the bag and coaxed the dogs in from the yard. Sprout, the house princess, had been bugging me for a snack, so I offered her one of her "special cookies" (She is on a diet...don't tell her that).

Well, I went in the other room to feed the cats and Sprout STOLE a Dott's cookie. Now, you must understand, Sprout doesn't "do" biscuits...needless to say, the bag has been moved to a higher and safer place...much to Sprout's dismay.

I want to thank you for your dog food. My dog had swollen toes and chewed his feet terribly. The Vet and I both thought that his feet and chewing problem was due to grass allergies.

When my Mom went in the hospital for several weeks a friend of mine cared for my dog. She ran out of my food and started feeding him Innova. In two weeks, his toes went back to normal size and he stopped chewing his feet. I would like to let everyone know how beneficial EVO for cats and kittens has been for my 14-year-old diabetic cat Spot.

I was having trouble putting weight back on my cat after he was diagnosed with diabetes with the prescription food that the vet suggested. A woman came into the store that I was working at and she had a diabetic cat also; she gave me a chart comparing different cat foods including the prescription food and EVO. I found that EVO was the better product of the ones that were listed. I bought my first bag 2 years ago.

Now Spot has put on a fair amount of weight, his coat shines, and he acts like a kitten again. Also, I don't have to go to the vet and spend extra money on a food that turns to sugar in his body. Thank you for giving me 2 extra years to date with my kitty.

I have always fed my four cats Innova or California Natural cat food, but when my oldest cat, Buddy, was diagnosed with diabetes last fall, I had to change his diet. Since I really liked the Natura pet foods, and it would be difficult to feed him separately, I did my research about food that I could feed all four and decided on EVO. Buddy went on a regime of insulin and all four cats got switched to EVO.

After about two months, Buddy's progress was so good that he was weaned off the insulin and is being maintained only on a diet of EVO. The other three cats are doing well, too. Their coats are shinier and they shed less. My Bengal cat, who is extremely sensitive to diet, tolerates EVO better than anything else that I have fed him. All of the cats love the food.

The major part of their diet is the EVO Cat and Kitten dry, but several times a week, they get EVO wet food, and, boy do they love it! I am pleased that I can feed all of the cats the same diet and am especially happy that I can keep Buddy's diabetes under control with a diet of EVO!

EVO is all I will feed to my cats (my Bengal cats and my "mutt" cats). They absolutely love it! Changed to Innova Jan '08. With 4 dogs I was concerned about the cost. Well, their coats are soft and shiny, shedding has minimized by 80%, and weight has maintained instead of increasing. The cost is worth just the shedding along, but if their coats are healthy, then I know they are too. Great product, worth the extra.

My husband and I watched with dismay how my 9yo bichon frise suffered with problems in his gut. Three bouts of HGE and frequent belly aches left Tombo with a lesser quality of life than we wanted for him.

I have been using EVO for a few years now, and all of my dogs are eating the EVO Small Bites. I breed Cavalier Kings Charles Spaniels and our 10-month-old just got his CKC Championship and a Best Puppy in Group. His coat is glowing, and his body is in superb condition.

I just wanted to tell you how happy I am to have food such a great food for my six-year-old golden retriever. "Oz" had been vomiting consistently and after some extensive testing, it turn out that he had some food allergies. I have to tell you that I didn't think anything was going to help my poor Bailey. He is a 3-year-old Chihuahua who has had gastrointestinal trouble since birth. I changed my Japanese Chin to Innova dry (small bites), and occasionally a small amount of canned food, in May of 2007 at the age of eight months. When his breeder saw him four months later, she didn't recognize him. He had put on weight and grown a gorgeous coat.

Almost two years ago, I adopted a cat with chronic diarrhea. I have tried several foods, both vet recommended and pet store recommended. Finally it was suggested that I try your Herring & Sweet Potato dry cat food.

Since he's been on that, the problem has resolved beautifully! I'm thrilled to see normal stools! My other cat also likes it, so I don't have to feed them separately. Thanks for a great product!!

One of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2007 and given only a few months to live. We immediately looked for options to make her more comfortable, and a friend told us about EVO. She said that the high protein and no carb diet would help to not feed the tumor.

When the melamine scare first occurred awhile back, I was scared and frustrated trying to find a new food for my two dachshunds. Although the brand we were using had few recalls, the fact that it had recalls at all scared me.

After lots of research I discovered Karma, and we tried it out. Since he was a puppy, my 3-year-old pup has been steadily losing hair, even after multiple doctor's opinions and recommendations. Natura's EVO has changed our lives. Our 6-year-old lab mix has had chronic gas on and off for pretty much his entire life, and though we had tried all diets possible (except the raw diet), his gas has persisted.

Thank you so very much for your wonderful dog and cat food! My pets were all on Nutro. A few months ago the dogs starting having diarrhea, vomiting, increased urination and thirst, and loss of interest in food. We also experienced UTIs, increased liver enzymes, and skin infections.

I found your food by researching online. It was listed as one of the very best foods one can feed his/her pets. Granted it took a while to track down a store that sold it, but we did. I adopted a beautiful, 5-year-old, 17 lb. male tabby cat from a shelter. I got him home and put him on the premium food the shelter recommended. He proceeded to throw up massive amounts of undigested and digested food in several "piles" all over my house every time he ate. I noticed in his litter box that he wasn't "producing" what I perceived to be the "expected" amount for a cat his size. I began to talk to the vet about xrays, testing for a blockage somewhere in his digestive tract.

Then I remembered a Collie I had many years ago with allergies to corn and wheat. This is when I originally found and began to swear by Innova dog foods. My Poodle gets nothing else many years after the Collie has been gone. I wondered, "Does Innova make cat food?"

I recently started my two dogs on California Natural Chicken and Rice, and it is wonderful. My 2-year-old has always had problems with wheat, beef, and dairy. I thought you might find it interesting that my two-year-old Shiloh Shepherd stopped having grand mal seizures after we switched him to EVO. We are in the process of changing all our dogs to EVO!

I just wanted to thank you for making a wonderful product. My Irish Wolfhound puppy was diagnosed with chronic diarrhea. Our vet tried multiple medications, probiotics and food to no avail. Some of the specialized food cost $75 a bag (27 pound bag), and with a growing Irish Wolfhound pup that could eat 40 pounds of food a month, the food bill was up to $150 a month plus the cost of her medications.

None of the things the vet tried worked – NONE – so, I started to do my own research online and found your company. I read and heard that Innova was a good dog food and so I tried that – it still made my pup too sick – so I tried the California Natural – that is just what she needed! Hello. I have a delicious little dog named Mr. Donuts who is a 7 lb toy poodle. He used to suffer from lots of itching and multiple scabbing sites over his body. I just want to thank you so much for your wonderful cat food. From last summer to this fall, my cat suffered from skin problems, raw skin, rashes, itching, and painful open sores all over his body. I took him to 3 different vets, called a cat dermatologist, tried antibiotics and steroids. No one could figure out what was wrong with him, and nothing was working. His skin kept getting worse and worse. My vet wanted to put him on immunosuppresion drugs and start working him up for skin cancer.

I was given a dog to train that came from an adoption agency. They wanted the dog trained so it could be adopted out. I received the dog covered in some horrible skin condition. The dog came with lots of medicine. Upon receiving this dog, I quickly began the dog on Innova EVO and no longer gave the dog any medicine. Within one month the entire coat was cleared up, and he now has a beautiful velvet-like feel and is super shiny. I was the one to adopt the dog! I couldn’t resist.

Also, my 130 Rottweiler was on Science Diet before I discovered Innova. He was eating 6 cups a day of Science Diet to maintain his weight. I found Innova, and the change was amazing. When I decided to adopt a cat 2 years ago, I was clueless about cats so searched online for information on what a cat diet should contain (and what it shouldn't). I was shocked to discover that there was virtually no cat food on the market that met a cat’s dietary needs. I bought two pure bred Chihuahuas (Suzie and Ruthie), and would like to report that they have never been sick, neither one of them, in 10 years!!! I give Innova complete credit for their health. This is the only food I have ever fed them since they were puppies.

Three months ago our cat became very ill and in a matter of days died of kidney failure. My son, who has Autism, was so upset and not happy with the Vet’s determination that the cat had gotten into anti-freeze. Considering this cat had never been outside it was an impossible diagnosis.

My son set out to research the possibilities of our cat's death and determined that the pet food we were buying had less than adequate nutrition and was made mostly of wheat, rice and filler. He then set out and researched all pet foods on the market and determined that EVO would be best food to feed our animals.

We have had our pets on EVO for two months. Our dog who is a shepherd - collie cross had over the past two years had gained a lot of weight and could no longer sit properly without his front legs sliding out from under him. As a result of putting him on EVO he has lost 15 pounds so far, has a lot more energy, is excited and jumping around when I get home from work and can now sit without slowly sliding to the ground. He still needs to lose another 10 to 15 pounds and he will be at a weight that is healthy.

Our cats are benefiting too – we have reduced our fat cat's size (he is a cat I inherited from my son when he transferred jobs). The cat went from a whopping 29 pounds to 19 pounds, and I hope he will lose another 5. Our main-coon is a big cat to begin with but she is eating EVO every morning. I know this food can be more expensive than the leading brands at your local variety store, but in the long run your animal eats less because they are more satisfied and full...so your bag of pet food does go a long way. I have three dogs. Two yorkies and one chihuahua. One of the yorkies has fine, perfectly straight hair. She also had some bald spots on the top of her head. Her coat was just awful.

My cat, Mr. Bibbles, has had some sort of mysterious allergies since he was 6 months old. I have been on quite a journey recently...my 3-year-old Boxer had cancer. We were lucky enough to have gotten it in time, however I needed to change her diet. We have a 3-year-old Black Lab named "Bliss.” She has battled (mostly) seasonal allergies all of her short life. I just want to say I have tried EVO, Innova and California Natural, and they have made my beagle a healthy dog.

Beagles are known to have tender stomachs, and some of the brands that we tried caused her stomach lining to bleed. She was very sick when I obtained her from a breeder, and she had Coccidia and Kennel Cough. She will be two years old in November.

I just want you to keep up the good work and don't ever change as a company. You can tell your company really cares about animals, and I recommend your food to everyone I know. A friend of mine swears by your food because her dog had bad allergies and now their dog is fine thanks to you.

We purchase our food from Dog Bone Alley in Alameda, California and they are so kind and so informative about your products. I am also glad that you don't mass market your products to grocery stores and pet stores. Petco and Petsmart are not always informed about their products and are more concerned about volume than having a satisfied customer. I hope that you will be in business for many years to come. I only feed my dog your products and I also feed her your biscuits as well.

My Vizsla started suffering from severe skin allergies around the age of 4 years. We tried vet prescribed food and supplements. Nothing seemed to work and her skin kept getting worse.

Please accept my thanks for your wonderful product. I have a golden who has had hot spots and stinky ears since he was 8 weeks old. Your California Natural Low Fat Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food has practically eliminated his ear yeast and he has maybe, one hot spot a year. It is miraculous. I drive 10 miles each way to get my food from Meriden Feed and Grain in Meriden, CT, and they are great! Just wanted to let you know what a blessing EVO Cat Food has been for our 13 y.o. cat Bob. He is diabetic, and began pulling his hair out in early 2007. Our vet tried everything she could think of, thinking it was allergies. He got so bad that we thought we were going to lose him. We tried different diets, but Bob has always been very finicky. Then a very helpful man at our local pet food store recommended EVO. Bob started eating it the minute we put it in his bowl. We noticed a change almost immediately. My cat is 5 years old. She has had problems throwing up her canned or dry food over the years. My vet said she has a "sensitive stomach" and he put her on IVD. She threw that up too. It wasn't all the time, maybe 3 or 4 times per week. I changed vets. She said she would need a series of blood work which I did. Everything came out normal. The problem persisted. She said that she must have an allergy and that series of tests was costly. I decided to investigate myself. I tried many foods, ei: Wellness, Science Diet etc. to no avail. Finally I went to a small petshop and found your product. I tried the canned at first because canned was the bigger problem. She kept it down! Then I purchased the dry. It's been 2 weeks and not one episode of vomitting. Apparently she is allergic to grain. Why did 2 vets not figure that out? I just want to personally thank you and I'm sure my cat Cupcake would thank you too. Your product is a lifesaver.

I discoved California Natural when a new store opened this year. I have a 14 yr old and a 2 year old cat. The older cat has had to get cortizone injections for the last 10 yrs due to scratching and hair loss. The store owner recommend California Natural and it has been great. Both cats love the food but best of all my older cat no longer scratches and just looks overall healthy. She was always a skinny cat and with age got even thinner. I now see a bit of difference since her being on the food as her coat and overall appearance looks better. So glad I found your product!

I have a flat-coat that has severe allergies. She could not eat one single food without scratching, pulling out hair, or being in pain. When we switched to EVO she has had wonderful results. Her coats is gorgeus, finally stopped having ear infections, and she is not pulling her hair out. EVO has been a life saver for us.

I just wanted to commend your company. I use Innova Cat Food, EVO Cat Food (especially for my diabetic senior cat), California Natural Puppy food and California Natural Chicken & Rice Dog Canned Food. All of the cats and dogs have wonderful fur and the food has worked well for a Black & Tan Coonhound who has allergies, the diabetic cat who eats the EVO. Even the feral cats that I care for love it and the two that I have tamed have wonderful fur and are healthy.

I've just started feeding my purebred chocolate lab EVO after having an endless battle with lesser quality foods and a dog that was getting more and more emaciated with each passing day. She was so ill-looking that her ribs and spine were severely protruding. Even the vet couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I've had her on EVO for a week now and what an amazing difference! I have absolutely fallen in love with your product (EVO, low-fat in particular, purchased at the Wyley Wagg Store in Middleburg, VA). I initially purchased it for my daughter's service dog. I, of course, want to keep him healthy and happy for as long as possible, but I had also read that if a dog does not lose weight on a restricted diet that he may be sensitive to the wheat products that are in it. He loves it, and is starting to look less like William Shatner in Boston Legal.

I became completely convinced in the value of the product when I started feeding it to our elderly Sheltie. She had been attacked this summer and had gone through two surgeries. Though healed, she acted, sorry to say, like my mother in her later stages of dementia (fur coat and all)!! She acted like she couldn't really see, had no real direction to her walk, had no appetite and no energy. I am so pleased with how she has responded to the EVO! This is by far the best food on the market. My Emmy (Boston Terrier) was diagnosed with Mast Cell Tumor grade II in September 08. I've had her on EVO since then and I can't believe the difference. She was allergic to everything and also suffered from chronic ear infections. One was so bad that she almost lost her hearing. Since September she hasn't had another infection and she looks great. I really believe it's the grain-free diet and the high quality of her food. She just turned 11 years old and still looks and acts like a puppy. I've recommended the food to my Vet and have also told all my friends!

My 2yr old Basset Hound loves this food and it seems to be very digestible. Prior to using Innova Red Meat he would get runny stools. His coat is shinny, he is at the perfect weight for his build and he has so much energy. I will never feed anything else. Thanks for a great product.

I am a totally blind woman, and I am partnered with my first Guide Dog, Sunny! She is a five year old Golden Retriever. I very recently changed her over to California Natural Chicken Meal and Brown Rice formula, and I have seen a difference in a very short time. My 14 year old Cocker Spaniel had been on the same food her whole life (Purina ONE). After researching dog food quality on the internet, I saw where the kibble she was on could be the cause of her itchy, dry, flaky skin. After looking at different brands, Chase suggested I try California Natural "Lamb and Rice" small bites. After gradually switching her over (2 weeks), I noticed a marked improvement in her skin and coat. The California Natural has a very short ingredient list compared to "Grocery store brands" that are full of corn meal filler and preservatives. I was so impressed with the product, I have switched my two 3 month old Miniature Schnauzer puppies to the California Natural Lamb and Rice puppy formula. They love the taste compared to the Iams puppy food the breeder had them on. Don't let the slightly higher price (over grocery store brands) deter you. The higher quality ingredients will fill your dog up quicker on a smaller amount, saving you money in the long run.

Last month my Italian Greyhound Roxi was dying. There's no getting around it, she was losing weight rapidly, her teeth were falling out, her coat for the first time in her life was dull and getting coarse. I want to commend you on asserting high quality standards for your pet foods. Nine years ago I paid a bill for over $400 for my sick cat. After educating myself about pet food ingredients, I switched to Innova. No more problems. In fact, I no longer needed to buy hairball remedies. After Innova their coats became so beautiful. Both Kali and Henri remain very healthy to this day. I highly recommend your product to other pet owners. When they balk at premium food prices, I ask, "Would you rather pay huge bills and fret about your sick buddy or buy a high quality food and enjoy your pet's playfulness and health!" It usually doesn't take long for people to pause, think about their choices and outcomes for their pet and themselves. Also, I was very fortunate to learn about Innova while living in California. When I moved it took a while to locate a store who carried Innova. I tried to persuade one store owner to carry your products. He reported the "shelf space was already paid for by other companies". I guess it's up to pet owners to educate each other. I happily do!

We love your products! Always heard about Innova curing urine infections and pet allergies. We go to Canine Cookies and Cream in St. Charles, MO, to buy the EVO small bites for dogs and EVO cat food. Their coats have been so much healthier, they don't regurgitate their food anymore, allergies are not nearly an issue (Chihuahuas-known for reverse sneezing-may be a breed defect) and they love to eat! Thanks! This company is great! I cry happy tears knowing you guys understand how pet owners feel about their "kids." This country has some major (moral) problems and it's good to know there is at least one company that has a sturdy backbone-a company to trust in.

I have 3 miniature dachshunds. They are my babies! I did not realize until I began volunteering for Tails of Hope Animal Sanctuary that I was feeding my dogs horrible dog food. One of the dog foods recommended to me by our adoption coordinator as a great, all-natural food, was EVO. I started off with another all-natural dog food first and after doing some additional research, discovered EVO was better. So, once again, I switched foods.

My dogs LOVE this food. I love that I am now feeding my dogs great food that they like, that is good for them. I believe more people would switch their dog's food if they knew the horrible truth about what they are feeding their dogs and the way some dog food companies disguise the ingredients to make them sound healthy.

And yes, it is more expensive, but I figure if I can pay $10 a pound for lunchmeat, I can pay $2 a pound for my dog food. I used to use Purina ProPlan. I had a pretty good hair coat but problem maintaining correct weight (Miniature Pinschers gain weight easily but have a high energy level). I switched to EVO about 4 years ago and my dogs are lean, fit with high-gloss hair coats. AKC judges run their hands over them and can't stop!! I have several home-bred AKC champions now, and they eat only EVO. Plus, no bad breath, small stool, cleaner teeth, no gas - Thank you!

My daughter left to study abroad with tears in her eyes because she knew that she wouldn't see her cat of 17 years again. Her cat has cancer on her nose, and because of her age, we decided against the surgery.

Within a month after our daughter left, her cat stopped eating. We tried many different brands and flavors of food to entice her to eat, but she wouldn't eat more than a bite or two. It broke our hearts but we knew it was "time.”

We were at Lemos buying food for our dog and in one last try we bought three cans of your Salmon and Sweet Potato cat food. thinking that she would be gone before we could use all three cans. We thinned a small amount with water to enable her to lap it up and to our surprise she slurped it down and meowed for more. She ate the entire can! The next morning she was meowing to be fed and again ate almost a whole can.

That was 2 & 1/2 months ago and she has gained weight, continues to eat well and her nose even looks better. Some of the scabs have actually healed and she is definitely enjoying life again! I actually think that she may still be around when my daughter returns in the spring! Thank you for an excellent product! But I do have to wonder...who ever thought of sweet potato for a cat?

When our new puppy, Ophelia, came to our home, we fed her what we were feeding our other dog; Sweet potato and fish by Wellness. Gretchen was on that due to allergies and a severe skin condition. In time, she became very sick and we had to put her to sleep. We decided to put Ophelia on cheaper dog food without thinking about the ingredients or consequences. She began to have seizures. We suspected the dog food was the problem so we kept changing brands, not quality. when her seizures became weekly, we were really concerned. We thought we were feeding her good food because everything was a top name brand product. We went to our local pet store and told them our dilemma. They recommended California Natural. We started her on that Nov 08, and since then she has not had a seizure. We are so relived. I'm convinced it is because of California Natural. We tell everyone about it.

I just wanted to thank you for producing such a quality product! My Japanese chin has struggled with skin allergies and tummy issues for some time now, with symptoms ranging from “Hershey squirts” to uncontrollable itching… My little guy was just miserable! I had had him on another quality potato and duck food for allergy prone dogs but after getting married and moving into our new apartment the stress triggered a whole new bout of troubles! He would go for days without eating and when I tried other foods his allergies returned with a vengeance until I came across your food on the internet. I liked the fact that you’ve included so much more animal protein (he really liked that!), so I’ve been mixing your food with his allergy formula and he eats with gusto! In about a month’s time he as grown a full, thick, gorgeous coat (he was going bald from all the scratching just before we started him on Evo!) and this is only at half strength! As the co-owner of a pet food store that carries a number of excellent holistic and natural pet foods, I know the benefits of feeding a premium food. I had an experience today, however, that has never made that so evident. I sometimes foster dogs for a local rescue and at this time I have an 8-9 week old Boxer puppy (who, by the way, I am going to adopt) that I have fostered for the last 3 weeks. When I first saw these babies at 5-6 weeks old, they were small for their age, full of worms, the hair coat was scraggly and dull with kind of a gray looking haze to it. They weighed right at 4 pounds and just looked "puny." While I took one of the pups to foster, another member of the rescue took the other puppy. As soon as I got my puppy, I started him on Innova puppy food. Today, I got the opportunity to see the other pup and the difference was astounding. My "Doozer" was at least 1 1/2 inches taller and 3-4 pounds heavier than the other pup. His coat is sleek and shiny and he looks and acts like the picture of health. The other pup's coat is still dull and rough and side by side there is just no comparison. They don't even look like they came out of the same litter. I asked the foster mom what she had been feeding and she said Iams. Needless to say, I sent her out with a bag of Innova puppy and I hope she can make up for the time lost. I was just amazed at the difference that excellent nutrition made and wanted to share the story.

I had a diabetic dog and tried your product EVO for him. I used to feed Nutro Natural. I loved it and fed it to all my dogs and they did well. I recently bought a dog from Canada and decided to put him on your Innova Puppy since EVO said adult only. LOVE IT. Puppy switched from Royal Canine to Innova very well.

I adopted a Beagle mix from Animal Control several months ago. She came with a sample of (and a recommendation for) Iams dog food. I fed her on Iams but she didn't seem to be getting any stronger. She is also fighting heartworms and NEEDED to build up her body. I asked a pet store employee for a recommendation for a supplement. He recommended EVO. I was skeptical over the price but gave it a try because I love my dog! What a difference! She enjoys meals, I feed her less food but she is healthier and has more energy. My vet said it has dramatically improved her health and he feels much better about her getting the heartworm shot. Fingers crossed! Thank you.

I just wanted to let you guys know what a great food Innova is. I began feeding about two weeks ago and my dog gobbles it up like I just served him a steak. I just wanted to write and tell you what a great product Karma dog food is. I started my Cockapoo, "Sophie" on Karma about three years ago when she was about one year old. I stopped into Aptos Feed store and asked them to recommend a good organic dog food. Sophie had been having a lot of stomach problems. The owner said he heard good things about Karma, so we tried it. No more stomach problems! In fact I just took her in for her four year old physical. The vets were amazed at how healthy she looked. She has no skin allergies(very common for her breed)her eyes looked great and the most amazing was the whiteness of her teeth! No plague at all! The vet wanted to know what I feed her and I told her about Karma. I believe in giving credit to people and products that do a good job and I thank you for your great product. P.S. My daughter is now feeding her dog Karma with the same results!

This food is absolutely amazing! I used to feed Purina dog chow and I was constantly wondering why my dog's coat was so coarse and dull. I was amazed when I switched to the Innova Large Bites how full and shiny his coat was. I also watched his energy level while transitioning him from the Purina to the Innova. His energy has more than doubled since switching. He is always up playing and running! There is no way I will ever go back to feeding anything other than this food! I started my three dogs on Evo dog food one week ago. They really seem to like it. I am still mixing it in with their old food. The funny thing is they are picking out the Evo from the old food and leaving the old food in their dishes. The only draw back so far is some gas problems but I'm sure that will subside. Bought a bag of Innova Adult Large Bites dry dog food. When I mixed it with Crosby's old food, he ate only the Innova. He absolutely loves it and won't eat his old food at all. I am thrilled and so is he.

I got Monty, a miniature dachshund, when he was two months old and started him on a very popular dog food brand. I always found it strange that he would never eat all of his food and would only pick at it throughout the day. I started putting small treats in it to entice him to eat more but this only worked for a short while. While at a friend's house on a doggie play date, my friend pulled out a bag of Innova dog food and I thought let me mix a little into his regular food this one time to see what happens. Dear Natura - Thought I'd send off a quick email to you guys to let you know how much I appreciate your stellar dog food. After listening to a study done on nutrition and the connection between taurine deficiency, and lamb and rice presented at my breed club meeting, I immediately decided to switch my dog's food from a lamb and rice based food to one with alternative proteins. I remembered learning about your food while working in a local pet store. I put my bitch on Innova, and never looked back. That was when she was two, and now at eight and a half, a breed champion, a register of merit with the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, and on Innova Senior, Bella still looks as awesome as ever. When I brought a puppy into our household, I was displeased with the food the breeder had him on. I struggled with his weight distribution, and over-all appearance. Like Bella, Hef was a show prospect, so optimum physical condition is critical. I put him on Evo small bites, (original formula) and it's like the clouds parted and the angles started to sing! He started looking AWESOME! Gone were the flakes from his coat! Gone was the fatty layer over his body! Gone were the sun-burned spots on his coat! In their place: lean, sinewy muscle with a rich, thick, shiny coat! While still a young dog with a fledgling show career, I know your products have helped him develop correctly to become the handsome dude he is. Please, please, please don't muck with your ingredients. Please don't switch processing facilities. Please don't do all the stupid things other dog food companies do in order to cut costs, become more massive and try to take over the world. EVO is the best food ever! I have two Catahoula Leopard dogs and have gone back and forth trying to feed a grain free and raw diet. I had a couple issues come up...I have tried Canidae, Nature's Variety, and Solid Gold grain free formulas. My dogs either could not agree as far as both liking the foods or had reactions...my younger houla has a sensative system and immediately would break out in hives or have loose stools. EVO was the FIRST food that both my dogs LOVE and that my younger pup had no issues with. I feed them a mix of the red meat and chicken along with the 95% can. Although I still supplement with raw I would never feed anything but EVO. The quality is outstanding and it is worth every penny!

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the Ferret EVO dry kibble. My 10 ferrets will eat no other kibble, and have never looked better. I want to sing your praises; I think I have finally found a food that works! I have a five and a half year old Chocolate Lab, Nikki, who developed a very sensitive stomach and bad allergies just over a year ago. Needless to say, there have been several trips to the vet's for stomach and allergy issues, including very expensive veterinary formula food. Nikki has been on your Low Fat Lamb and Rice for over a month and is doing great. It hasn't bothered her stomach, her allergies have been better and her coat has improved. I am in the process of switching my year and half old Schnoodle to your Chicken and Rice formula now. Thank you for producing a terrific product that is reasonably priced.

My cat has had dandruff, dull fur, lots of shedding, frequent diarrhea and vomiting, and a fat pooch for his whole life. He is 7 yrs old now, I just switched to EVO 9 days ago. He no longer has dandruff, his fur is softer/shinier, his stools are normal, and he's lost almost a pound. I hope things get even better. I love this new food!

I am so thankful for the Innova Large Breed Puppy Food. I have had such fantastic results. When I got my Great Dane she was 4 months old, she was under weight, her coat looked drab and she didn’t seem to want to eat much. I have had my 3 dogs on California Natural Lamb and Rice Adult formula now for about 6 weeks. I had been feeding a popular "pre-mix" but my red minpin's coat was dull and my 2 bichon girls' coats were thinning out. I continue to supplement their kibble from time to time with small amounts of fresh meats, veggies and yogurt or kefir and they are doing so well. My minpin's chronic soft stool has cleared up and he has nice firm stools now (much easier to scoop!) My bichon girls even have less tear staining and their coats have improved and thickened. I plan to keep using your products, I trust the integrity and philosophy Natura has and I will continue to use and recommend your products with all the dogs who I may ever have the pleasure of sharing my life with. Gracie was 9-week-old Sheltie when we picked her from the breeder. She was being feed a well known dry puppy food but had a terrible case of dandruff and her coat was dull. Our 16 mo. old Sheltie, Buddy, was on California Natural so we switched her over to it and at 13 weeks the dandruff is gone and her coat is looking better every day. California Natural is a great food for our Shelties.

After a sudden bout of severe gastrointestinal disturbance with another "top manufacturer" of dog food we were at a loss - a friend said to try to transition to California Natural Herring and Sweet Potato and it did the trick - my young lab has been on it for almost a year and we have never looked back. Her coat is glossy and soft and her tummy is calm. Thank you for the pride you have in the production of every kibble of your product!

No product has prompted me to provide feedback as does your Flex canned products. Owning a small breed dog requires me to make every calorie of his intake count since his portions are so small. Thus, I bought the Flex food because of the high nutritional value it provides...but now find myself having to turn to it because our dog just loves it! He's a very picky eater and I've never seen him take to any food like he does to the Flex canned formulas. Thank you for ending my search for the best possible food for my picky dog.

Hi there! I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how impressed I am with Innova puppy chow. WHAT a difference in my puppy. It was like an overnight change, even my 8 year old daughter noticed it. She said his head looked like it was glowing. And it did. His coat is just totally different. Shiny, soft, and glowing, and he eats waaayyy less. In the long run it ends up being cheaper or equal to the cost of grocery store dog food puppy chow or what not. I just had to send an email to let you know how impressed our family is. We have actually just purchased our first bag of Innova cat food for our cats. I'm excited to see the changes in them as well. I am so happy that I found your Evo canned beef and venison cat food! My cat was diagnosed with kidney failure a short time ago and I was very disappointed to have to switch from a natural "no fillers" diet to a prescription vet diet filled with by-products and gross stuff. After doing a bunch of research online of the nutrient analysis of all of the canned natural cat foods, I found Evo and it matched the levels (and was actually BETTER) than the prescription diets. I took your food to my vet and she also reviewed the contents and levels and deemed it very a very suitable alternative! I am happy to report that my kitty is now thriving on your food, has gained the needed weight to bring her back to good health and looks better than ever!

When my dog seemed slightly underweight and hated his dog food, I accepted that this was normal and dog food was not supposed to taste good. After switching to EVO, he gained weight, stopped shedding, and prefers his own food to mine! The vet always tells me he is doing great and I know that is partly because of your food. I just wanted to say how much my cats like their Innova cat foods. The latest addition to my household, a 3-month-old kitten, has completely bypassed her kitten foods for the older cat's Innova Cat and Kitten dry food. I think Innova is the best food available!

Our "Buddy" yellow lab is two years old and he is very finicky when it comes to eating. We purchased a bag of your "Evo Red Meat Small Bites" because the store was out of Large Bites but Buddy looked at it like he always does and tried it and ate the entire bowl without stopping and wanted more, this morning the same thing. Hopefully it is good for him also, because he sure likes it.

We began using EVO Dry Cat and Kitten Food when it was recommended by the South Texas Persian Rescue. We had never heard of EVO before. Our three cats love it. My British Shorthair loves your California Natural Dry Kitten Food. The breeder initially had her on Royal Canin and I could tell she wasn't crazy about it and I wanted to switch over to something natural. She loves it! Initially I mixed in California Natural with her original food and she was picking out the California Natural and only eating those pieces!

I LOVE INNOVA! My dog Marley was grossly underweight for a majority of her life. We lived in a small southern town where the "best" brand name foods available were Science Diet and Nutro, but Marley wouldn't touch either one or prescription vet food or wet food, much to my dismay all my dog would eat for the first 4 years of her life was Pedigree. When we moved to Chicago last August Marley weighed a mere 88 lbs. I felt horrible.
